Seven brothers born in Mülheim an der Ruhr between 1929 and 1945 tell stories from their life. Their careers are very different: businessman or baker, manager, musician, theatre maker and reverend. Hidden similarities are revealed behind the outward differences in their personalities, probably as in every other large family. Each brother appears alone, and a full production day was devoted to every single one. \"Every brother knew that he could relate everything that appeared important to him or spontaneously struck him during the process of remembering on his particular day.\" (Sebastian Winkels) There are no group photographs and the camera therefore does not portray a dynamic family group.
The partner of the screening is Goethe Institut Prag.
