A documentary film capturing the dramatic fate of the most famous Czech bard Karel Kryl. The film introduces many of his best-known songs, as well as less well-known songs. An important line of the film is also searching for a copy of Andrzej Zajączkowski's film, who in 1969 as a student at FAMU, shot a film about Karel Kryl - Morituri te salutant. This documentary was then hidden by an employee of the Czechoslovak Film Archive and it has still not been found.
The screening is followed by discussion with disident Stanislav Devátý and musicologist Aleš Opekar.
