It’s cold and grey. The East looks like the West, the West like the East. In this atmosphere two stories take place, which at first glance do not have anything in common. The first is about Olga, a young nurse and mother. The second is about a young Austrian, Pauli. Both are looking for a job, for a new start, for a living, and for a new life. Import/Export is about sex and death, living and dying, winners and losers, power and helplessness and how to professionally brush the teeth of a stuffed fox.
