A week in the life of a young singer as he navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene of 1961. Inside Llewyna Davis is the story of an ambitious and talented young musician who is trying to get a little recognition at the time of revival of folk music in New York in 1961. Though his life seems to be an endless string of bad luck Llewyn does not give up a firmly pursues his dream. Without money and lasting address he struggles through own life and spends nights with a decreasing number of his friends. As the chance of rescue seems to be a trip to Chicago with the hope of getting a new manager and overcoming his bad luck.
