The Biblical Noah suffers visions of an apocalyptic deluge and takes measures to protect his family from the coming flood.
Disturbing vision of deadly floods is chasing Noah (Russell Crowe) in dreams increasingly. Wise Methuselah (Anthony Hopkins) helps him to decipher this and other strange signs. The country was on the edge of the abyss, where it was dragged by the human race. God decided to completely restart the life in the form of a gigantic flood recovery of the human species and chose Noah and his extended family as mediators. And because Noah knows that destruction comes with the water he begins to build the ark, a giant ship, where would he and his family survived. During construction he must deal not only with the lack of time, self-doubt, fear of their loved ones, but also with opened hatred of tribesmen led by the cruel son of the famous fratricide Cain (Ray Winstone). In addition to the cruise Noah must invite representatives of all the animal species that life on the "new" Earth can be completed. Biggest disaster in the history of the planet can begin.
