A story of ordinary heroes, of people who, despite all the dangers, courageously aided their neighbors even in the face of aggression.
It is 1943, and the Jewish population of Denmark finds itself in danger with Hitler ordering their deportation. Many families set out on the hazardous journey across the sea to Sweden. Thanks to the resistance and the help of ordinary folk, thousands of Jews are saved from death camps. This film gives an account of several of these courageous people and stars David Dencik in the main role.
