We are never completely ourselves. We are not of a single, firmly entrenched, forever immovable temper, or eternally established opinions and taste. We exist through others. For them or against them, in adoration, love or hatred. But always in relation to them. No one is ever alone. This motion picture is about our times. It is about the battle between the shadows that are beginning to perambulate Europe, embodied by the adults. And it is about the yearning for freedom and liberty which their children carry within.
